How can Researchers be allies for early childhood?
Science can generate and share knowledge about children’s development starting from the first few years of life
Over the past few decades, scientific recognition of the importance of early childhood and the many factors influencing child development has helped protect children’s rights. However, much work remains. Researchers play a crucial role in generating knowledge that has the potential to transform realities. Backed by scientific research, the Foundation advocates for the importance of caring for children and their environments.
Núcleo Ciência Pela Infância
-
The Núcleo Ciência Pela Infância (NCPI), a coalition of six national and international organizations, aims to bridge the gap between the scientific community and society by translating research into actionable insights that inform public policies for early childhood. This work takes place through multiple channels, including the Scientific Committee, the ‘Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisa Aplicada à Primeira Infância’ (‘Brazilian Center for Applied Early Childhood Research’ – CPAPI), and the ‘Prêmio Ciência pela Primeira Infância’ (‘Science for Early Childhood Award’).
